“The Job Fair employers offer a good array of opportunities for job seekers,” states library Executive Director Dave Schroeder. “Additionally, we encourage participants to try to take some time to meet with the career coaches on hand. These professionals will help settle any nerves and provide some great tips that ensure attendees get the most out of their time at this event.”
In addition to the Job Fair, the library has an extensive amount of both in-person and virtual programs to help job seekers at all levels succeed. “We offer GED preparation and testing, classes on how to get the most from one’s LinkedIn profile, resume workshops, computer classes and a myriad of other programs that will help job seekers whether this is their first job or if they are looking for a second career. We listen to feedback from class participants to provide a well-rounded program to fit the needs of our community,” stated Schroder.
Last year the job fair was held virtually. This year the event is in person. Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to wear masks. The Erlanger Branch is located at 401 Kenton Lands Road, Erlanger, KY 41018. Anyone with questions can contact the branch via the chat function at www.kentonlibrary.org or by calling the library at (859) 962-4002.
