Whether you’re dreaming of exploring the historic streets of Rome, embarking on a culinary journey through Thailand, or simply visiting family abroad, having a passport is your ticket to the world. Our trained staff is here to make the process of obtaining a passport as smooth and convenient as possible.
Along with passport application services, we offer passport photo services to ensure your application is complete and accurate.
How to Apply:
- Make an Appointment: Make an appointment online or call the Passport Acceptance Agent voicemail at 859-578-7931. Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes, and an appointment is required for each individual applying for a passport.
- Bring the Essentials: Be sure to bring all required documents, including proof of citizenship, a photo ID, and a completed application form. Check our website for a detailed list of what you’ll need.
- Fees and Payment: Passport application fees are set by the Department of State and can be found here. The Department of State accepts only check or money order. A separate payment to the library is federally required and is set at $35. Photos taken on-site are an additional $10. The library accepts check, money order, or cash.
