Back to School with KCPL!

Can you believe it?  Those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer are numbered, and it won’t be long before the schools are welcoming your children (and some of you!) back to their hallways! Gear up now for academic success by becoming aware of all the ways the Library can support the educational journey!

Our children’s webpage will provide reading recommendations, digital reading resources, online games, and a link to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library:

If you aren’t aware of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, this wonderful FREE program for children up to age 5 will provide a new book to your child, delivered to your address, every month.  If you sign your child up at birth, the child will receive 60 free books in the mail before turning 5!  Every child in Kenton County is eligible to participate in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.  Find out more at:

Many families struggle with providing academic support as their children reach the middle and high school years. How can I help my sophomore with Algebra II when it’s been 20 years since I even thought about Algebra????  And let’s not even talk about chemistry or physics!  The Library can help!  We have 2 online resources to help with these more academically challenging subjects.  Use Brainfuse HelpNow to get help from a live tutor:

Learning Express provides a variety of skill-building resources for students in grades 4 through college.

Are you an educator?  Whether you teach at home or in a school, you can benefit from all the services you will find at our Educator Services page:

The Library’s support for students, parents and teachers includes a staff member who is dedicated to serving your needs.  Don’t hesitate to reach out to Lise Tewes, School Services Coordinator, via email or phone, to make sure you are connected with the vast resources of our Kenton County Public Library!  Have a wonderful school year!
