As a librarian, I love giving books as gifts. I especially love giving children’s books. So, the new trend at baby showers of giving books instead of cards is right up my alley. We all know the typical classics that we read as kids, but board books have boomed in the last couple years and there are so many great books for babies. These books are fun, engaging, and educational. And parents won’t get bored reading them over and over and over again.
