Who is William E. Durr?
William E. Durr is a long-time resident and business owner in southern Kenton County. His brother, R.C. Durr, businessman and community builder, donated a gift which partially funded the new building as a tribute to his brother William.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, William received the first library card issued from the branch that bears his name. He was also the first person to check out a book in this library.
